The FS20 (FS20-IC) fast electronic shutter is designed to chop the light entering a detector through a spectral instrument at frequencies of up to 20 Hz.
The shutter mounts directly to the SOLAR TII spectral instrument's slit assembly. It is controlled by DS-1 driver according to sync signals from an external device.
The FS20-IC fast shutter with an imaging condenser allows transmission of light from a light source (a lamp, a fiber optic) to the entrance slit of a spectral instrument or from a spectral instrument to a detector (a photodiode, for instance).
